Hey loves! How is your week going? We hope you’re having fun, taking the time to relax and practice a little crocheting, a little quilting. Today, we separate another beautiful pattern to share with you, Little Texture Baby Skirt. One more pattern for us to make for our little ones. This piece is made entirely in crochet, with textures, ruffles at the end and a string to secure the size at the waist.
If you still don’t crochet, but want to start, stay here with us to learn. Skirts look great on little girls. You can wear it with blouses, tops and even make a crochet blouse to match the set. As for the yarns, you can choose the one you like the most, the one you already have around or follow the artisan’s instructions. The yarns used was very beautiful because, as it is already colored, the gradient of the piece is made naturally.
You don’t need to change yarn, buy more than one color. Let’s talk about sizes. The pieces made in crochet are, for the most part, easy to increase and decrease. But if you haven’t practiced it yet, it’s always good to have the information available in the pattern to guide you. In Two Brothers Blankets you will learn how to make five different sizes. Want to make the skirt a little longer? Increase the amount of rounds and then do the frill.

For a shorter skirt, the reasoning is the same: decrease the number of rounds and make the ruffle. The coolest thing about crocheting is that we don’t need a lot of materials to make such a beautiful piece. For the Little Texture Baby Skirt you will need worsted weight yarn, I hook or hook to obtain gauge, darning needle for weaving in ends. Here are some notes about the pattern.
Chain stitch does not count as first stitch for single crochet rounds, but does count as first stitch for hdc and dc rounds. This pattern is easy to customize. To customize the length just do more or less repeats of the texture rounds. Ready to start crocheting? Come see the pattern that is available in Two Brothers Blankets. Tell us what you think here in the comments. We will be very happy to hear from you. Let’s crochet!
